Honourable Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, is currently in the United States participating in the 2024 Harvard Ministerial Leadership Forum at Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Mamman is participating alongside with other Ministers from key sectorial Ministries. The forum is scheduled to hold from September 15th to 18th, 2024 at Harvard University.
The opening ceremony which held on Sunday, September 15th, 2024, was attended by prominent leaders, including former President of Tanzania, H.E. Jakaya Kikwete, and former Nigerian Minister of Finance and current Director-General, World Trade Organisation, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. While Advisory Board Chair, Harvard Ministerial Leadership, Julio Frank, delivered the welcome address.
Prime Minister of Barbados, Rt. Hon. Mia Mottley, presented a keynote address titled “Leading to Make a Difference in Government: to Achieving a Transformative Legacy.” The welcome ceremony concluded with discussions on topics such as “Leading with Purpose” and “Leadership.”
