Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State has acknowledged receipt of disbursement of the sum of N1,475,305,300.00 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

In a letter to NELFUND signed by the Registrar and Secretary to the Council of the University, Mrs. Olayinka Balogun, on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. R. O. Rom Kalilu, dated 13th August, 2025, the University received the funds on 24th July, 2025 being loan disbursement for 6,076 students.

Mrs. Balogun commended the NELFUND efforts aimed at providing financial assistance to indigent students, in alignment with the President Bola Tinubu’s goal of increasing access to higher education. She said, this gesture, which has brought significant relief to their students, demonstrated NELFUND’s commitment to supporting tertiary education in Nigeria.

“We appreciate the efficient processing and disbursement of the funds, which has facilitated the payment of fees for the beneficiaries,” Mrs. Balogun stated.
