The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of the University of Lagos (Unilag), Chief Wole Olanipekun, will be conferred an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Law and Administration at the 17th Convocation Ceremony of Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

The conferment is in recognition of Chief Olanipekun’s extraordinary achievements in the legal profession, high intellectual profundity, and deep understanding of the applicability of the principles of law that demonstrate both a transformative impact and standard of excellence that provides, through example, inspiration to graduates of law. It is also an acknowledgement of his leadership accomplishments in university administration, public service, and volunteerism.

On behalf of the Management, Senate and entire University of Lagos community, the Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, congratulates Chief Wole Olanipekun, on this award conferment.
