Barely few days at the Lagos State University (LASU), co-host of the 11th All Africa University (FASU) Games, some of the participating universities are already relieving their experiences.

In an exclusive chat with LASU’s Centre For Information and Public Relations (CIPR) Sports, the leader of Delegation, Women’s University in Africa, Zimbabwe, Brother Charles Choluwa, expressed his satisfaction with the hospitality University has accorded his team since it arrived on Wednesday, 18th September 2024.

CIPR Sports caught up with the handball (Male) team at the Handball Court, which is the only sport it would compete in at the games as they trained for the first time since its arrival in Lagos.

A delighted Choluwa stated, “We are happy to be here, to compete and looking forward to a fair play. We feel at home. The hospitality has been nothing but excellent. We are provided with transportation and the opportunity to practice on the court. The accommodation is also great”.

He added that the facilities are awesome while commending the University Management on the infrastructure at the Sports Centre.

He ended by wishing other participating Universities on their way to participate in the games, safe trips, and the best of the games.

The opening ceremony for the games kicked off at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) on Saturday, 21st September 2024.
