A beautiful and multi-talented South African Chef, Samkelisiwe Chiliza is preparing to launch her online store in South Africa and as well launch her restaurant (Peaches Gourmet) in Nigeria, Kenya, Botswana and other African countries.

The Zulu business lady said Nigeria is a powerhouse for business, adding that her parents taught her long time ago that Nigeria is a place to do business. She revealed that now that her mother is no more, she has taken it upon herself to achieve that dream, stating that after Nigeria, she will be establishing her business in Kenya and Botswana due to their tropical environment.

Chef Chiliza, a graduate from Capsicum International Culinary Studio, South Africa, revealed that beyond cooking, she’s an online English tutor, voice over artist, actress in her free time. “I love to unwind with activities like shooting at the range, traveling, swimming, and simply being outdoors, connecting with nature”, she said.

She hinted that her online bohemian earthy vintage store, which officially begun on December 10, 2024 has brought her an exciting and transformative journey. “We’re almost through with everything, but there are still a few tweaks to be made like changing the entire template to enhance the experience for our customers”, she said.

The online store according to Chiliza, is all about connecting people with the energy they deserve, helping them embrace their uniqueness, and offering products that uplift and inspire effortlessly. “We’re working hard to create a space that feels genuine, soulful, and truly transformative. It’s more than just a store, it’s a movement. We’re just getting started.”

As for the restaurant, Peaches Gourmet is not just a food trailer; it’s an experience, a fusion of rich African flavors with a modern twist, designed to bring people together over unforgettable meals.

Chef Chiliza said, “Every dish is crafted with love, inspired by my culinary travels and a deep appreciation for both Western and African cuisine.

“So the idea came from my belief that food has the power to connect us. I want to create a space where people can enjoy high-quality, unique dishes that feel like home no matter where they’re from. From the signature ‘Classic South African Braai Plate’ to the gourmet burgers, wraps, and specialty drinks. I aim to make every bite a moment of pure joy, come back for more.

“People have been asking for something bigger and they love my cooking. I’m Zulu what you expect.

“It’s also about offering a unique dining experience for all types of events, from corporate gatherings to festivals & even large-scale catering. I’m focused on making sure that Peaches Gourmet becomes a brand that’s recognized across Africa and beyond, creating jobs, empowering communities and bringing people together through delicious food. I’m not just building a business; I’m building a movement, one plate at a time.”
