The Society of Occupational and Environmental Health Practitioners of Nigeria (SOEHPON) is a professional body dedicated to promoting health and safety in workplaces and the environment across Nigeria. Established to serve as a hub for practitioners in the fields of occupational and environmental health, SOEHPON plays a vital role in advancing public health, workplace safety, and sustainable environmental practices.
SOEHPON brings together a multidisciplinary membership, including occupational health physicians, environmental health officers, nurses, safety professionals, industrial hygienists, and allied practitioners who work collaboratively to prevent work-related illnesses, injuries, and environmental hazards.
SOEHPON vision is to be a leading professional society championing occupational and environmental health best practices in Nigeria and beyond, and a mission to promote the health, safety, and well-being of workers and communities by: advocating for effective occupational and environmental health policies. Providing continuous professional development and training for members. Encouraging research, innovation, and best practices in health and safety.
